Juggalo Family Rant (2 of 3)

Here's some more food for thought: A long time ago in a galaxy far away, ICP threw a dart on a map. It landed on Dallas. They brought their promo van to the high schools. Yes, high schools, y'all. Just because a lot of us are grown up now doesn't mean the music won't be appealing to kids anymore. Older ninjas who feel that things aren't the same as they were 15 years ago need to lighten up on the next gen. a little bit. Maybe you're just upset that you're not a kid any more. ICP's music changes n evolves constantly. So does the scene. Some of us are growing with the artists, but some of you are living in the past. If we can't just get along, can you at least shut the fuck up about how everybody else is ruining everything for you? Let it go cuz there ain't shit you can do. Keep ridin’ and enjoying the view.

I was a teenager when I heard ICP for the first time. I was drawn in by the violent lyrics and sick sense of humor. But I never thought that the violence was a way to be. It was always something I could relate to emotionally. If the messages need to be explained to you than you probably aren't ready to hear it.

Just being young has never been the issue, its how older ninjas don’t gel with the young ones. Its about how we either accept or reject our differences. Its about letting ninjas figure shit out on their own terms and not accosting them before they have it all figured out.
